As a Reservations Clerk at Highgate Hospital, you will provide an outstanding service to patients. Working closely with all relevant departments to ensure a smooth and effective service to all patient’s pre-surgery, by accurately and efficiently scheduling Theatre day cases and inpatient admissions. This is a fast-paced role, often subject to last minute changes so the ability to proactively react to change is essential

As a Reservations Clerk, you will:

  • Have great communication skills and be able to explain information to patients in a way that’s clear, sympathetic and easy to understand regardingtheir procedures
  • Be IT literate willing to learn inhouse systems and have confident mailbox management skills
  • Be confident liaising with Patients, Consultants, Anaesthetists and other internal stakeholders
  • Have a proven ability to step outside of your comfort zone and adapt to challenges at short notice

We welcome patients who have private medical insurance or choose to pay for their own treatment. Highgate Private Hospital also provides some specialist services to NHS patients.

Following a £15 million redevelopment and expansion programme, we offer a wide range of healthcare services. These include:

· outpatient clinics

· diagnostic imaging

· a pharmacy service

· treatment or surgery in most branches of medicine

We can care for you, from your initial appointment with a consultant and diagnostic tests, through to surgical treatment and rehabilitation. There are minimal waiting times for tests and treatment.

Highgate Private Hospital works with over 150 consultants and other specialists in London. Many of these healthcare professionals also work in the NHS and are leaders in their field.

We employ more than 100 hospital staff, including highly experienced nurses. All of our nurses are registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
